Living Treasures of Los Alamos Inc

Each year since 1999, Living Treasures of Los Alamos has honored three senior citizens who have demonstrated a long-time commitment to the community through their volunteer service. The 105 Los Alamos Living Treasures have devoted countless hours to improving the lives of Los Alamos residents and other neighbors in Northern New Mexico. Run by an all-volunteer board of directors and financed solely through donations, the non-profit organization solicits nominations for new Treasures and selects the honorees. The board hosts a ceremony to gather family, friends, and the greater community to celebrate and share memories of those selected. To recognize all the Living Treasures, once a year the Board holds a luncheon for new and past Living Treasures.
