Espanola Pathways Shelter

Everyone deserves a safe place to sleep, a chance to heal, and a path forward.

Española Pathways Shelter (EPS) is a low-barrier emergency shelter and housing stabilization organization serving people experiencing homelessness in Española and throughout Rio Arriba County.

Since 2019, we have provided a safe, welcoming place for people who often have nowhere else to turn. Our participants include individuals experiencing chronic homelessness, substance use disorders, mental health challenges, physical disabilities, financial hardship, and other barriers to stable housing.

At EPS, we believe that meeting basic needs is the first step toward creating lasting change. We provide more than a place to sleep. Our services include meals, showers and hygiene supplies, clothing, case management, housing navigation, assistance obtaining identification and benefits, connections to healthcare and behavioral health services, emergency assistance, and support as individuals work toward permanent housing and greater stability.

We take a low-barrier, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach. That means meeting people where they are, treating everyone with dignity, and helping each person identify the goals and resources that can move them forward.
